WHO WE ARE

GL Insurance Partners, LLC was formed by James Guerin and George Lagos, who have worked together as colleagues over the past twenty five years in the U.S. primary insurance business. GL Insurance Partners’ primary focus is on consulting and conducting due diligence and operational reviews of MGA’s, program administrators, U. S. based Lloyd’s coverholders and other forms of delegated underwriting authorities. As former senior executives for national carriers, and as principals of an insurance / reinsurance management company specializing in the management and administration of commercial specialty program business, we are uniquely qualified to assist in providing independent and expert advice and analysis in all aspects of specialty program business, including home office operations, program administration and related matters.

We have worked with a broad spectrum of entities; leading U.S. primary carriers and reinsurers; Lloyd’s underwriters; and program administrators. From small family run specialty businesses with less than $5 million in premium to national multi-line programs with volume in excess of $50 million, we have dealt with all aspects of developing, initiating, managing and operating program businesses. Programs have typically been focused on commercial or professional liability lines, including but not limited to the following business segments.
