WHO WE ARE

GL Insurance Partners, LLC was formed by James Guerin and George Lagos, who have worked together as colleagues over the past twenty five years in the U.S. primary insurance business. GL Insurance Partners’ primary focus is on conducting due diligence and operational reviews of MGA’s, Program Administrators, U. S. based Lloyd’s Coverholders and other forms of delegated underwriting authorities. As former senior executives for a national carrier, and as principals of an insurance / reinsurance management company specializing in the management and administration of commercial specialty program business, we are uniquely qualified to assist in providing an independent and expert analysis of all aspects of Program Administrators and Lloyd’s Coverholders.

We have worked with a broad spectrum of entities from small family run specialty businesses with less than $5 million in premium to national multi-line programs with volume in excess of $50 million. The business platforms we have been involved with span the continuum to include those with limited automation capacity, to those having significant IT resources and data capture and exchange capabilities. Programs have typically been focused on commercial or professional liability lines of business, and have been local, regional and national in scope, including but not limited to the following business segments.
